Wooden Notecard Holder

Hello my Bleeps!
Today I have a really cool project to share with you today. Stamping on wood!
Remember that I made some cute little notecards for a special friend, well I decide that I wanted to make a Wooden Painted Notecards holder which I can use for those or new ones.

This is real fun, you can also use your SP stamps on wood!!
Let's get started!

I gather all of my supplies: Wood piece, acrilic paint: pink, white and brown, some brushes, ink, Circlestatic Background stamp.
Painted the wooden piece with the acrilic paint using the color combination of choice - for mine I used: brown, magenta and off white.

here's the finished Wooden painted notecard holder, I even painted the inside !

then using my Circlestatic Background Stamp inked with white ink pad and stamped the front of your wooden piece - tip: try on scrap paper first to measure the alignment of your stamp on the wooden piece before, after you are sure how your alignment will go then make the impression.

....your impression then will look something like this!

when you are done with the painting and impression, then just add some embellishment, I used some paper flower of the same colors add a pink button and a little bow with some white and brown PaTwine.

It should look something like this.....

Here's the finished Wooden Notecard Holder with some sample notecards inside.

This is a great gift for anyone it could be with or without the notecards...
my clients usually ask for the complete set: Notecards & Holder.
It is just a beautiful Birthday present for anyone!!

Is Old Stamp week at SP Stamps Blog and I would like to share another Valentine's card I made; using sentiments from Ultimate Sentiments II stamp set.

As you can see I've been doing a lot fo CAS cards, well I just finished the Clean & Simple Card Making classes and It was such a wonderful and interested experienced!
So I will be show casing some of the tips, techniques, etc. I learned.

I like the simplicity of this card but at the same time so delicate and elegant! don't you think?

Cute Gift... A set of NoteCards

Hello my Bleeps!!!
Today I want to show you how to make a set of Notecards as a gift!
I wanted to make this set for a friends and I know she loves pink & green combination....

Let's get started!
I gather all together to have it at hand... sometimes I will add things on the go
or will not use something showing!

Stamping Circlestatic Background from SP & Co, with green ink on the note cards that I previously cut at 3.7" x 2.7" and fold them:

....cut with my die cut machine all the flowers that I will add later to the cards:

on a side note - to make my process easier, I always make one step start to finishing all at once, like the die cuts flower here I cut them all and then paste them all together and then to next step, add them to the notecards and finished off with a little pink buttom in the center with a nods of PaTwine

then I decorated the little brown bag that I will put the notecards in,
I stamped Circlestatic Background to a piece of white cardstock and add it to the bottom of the bag leaving some brown space at bottom; then added some left cut out flowers to left side of the stamped border and the pink button.

Here's the finished notecards and the little bag:

I wrapped around the notecards and envy some pink tissue paper and put them inside the bag leaving some tissue paper showing on top.
I add a small tag - and with pink ink add the sentiment Thank you from the set Ultimate Sentiments II from SP & Co, and added a green & white little bow.

Hello everyone!! How's your week?
Today I have a very CAS card to share with you. I'm already in the Valentine's mood!!!

I pulled out my one of my FAV Valentine's set from SP & Company Candy Hearts and stamped the big heart in 3 different designer papers, trying to look for that cheerful mood- added the sentiment in the bottom right to make a clean statement....jajaja! and Voula! Done!!

I just love the out come of this card, it is very Clean & Simple but cheerful at the same time and perfect for Valentine's day!

This year I started early making Valentine's Card for friends and clients, this is one of the first samples, I just fell in love with the New Big Polka Dots Background stamp and I thought it was perfect match with the idea of the cut out heart.... and the sentiment from Tu Eres Especial - Mis Creaciones Spanish Stamp Set. Is a lovely combination of white & red so Valentine for sure!.

... also I used Cutest Gingerbread Man from SP & Co, added him some moving eyes and button to his stomach.. I love Red & Green for Christmas I seems to be using it all the time! I added some crotched twine to the sentiment for the perfect touch to the sentiment.

Polka Doodles Challenge 46 - Shaped Christmas

{This is my second post for today, if you are looking for CSAYL challenge scroll a bit down!}

Welcome to another Polkadoodle challenge!

The theme is : Shaped Christmas

But NO square or rectangle cards - it really does need to be shaped!

Here's what I came to:

I'm using a pre-colored images from Boys outside from the CD collection Magical Winter Vol 2 printed and using my spellbinders I cut my shaped and layered it up on top of a circle papers , then I added some glitterly path and the red ribbon and the red button and Voula!

Christmas Stampin All Year Long challenge!

it kind of sad...today is our last challenge of the year. It was fun playing each week and also seeing others play along with us!

I'm using "Xmas Tree" Let me tell you this challenge was a little hard for to follow with this gourgeous picture with that Christmas tree and those kiddos... but I use the Acetate background base for the card and use the green and gray combination....I think I did good!

"Gold / Glitter" you can use color Gold or Glitter on you project.

For my card I'm using the New Image Nativity

Here's my card:

I used gold and also glitter for my card I have always love the gold & Red color combo for Christmas and this was the perfect image to try that! I'm using Ultimate Sentiments II stamp set being release today. I like the outcome of this card is so simple but at the same time is just so elegant. I tried this Mosaic type of feeling for the background which I found that gives the card a very elegant feeling - beside the classy combination of Red, Recycle and Black colors!

I when with some Fall colors and added some blue for the mittens, I really like how it turned out this lovely card - even thought I do not like Orange very much (but don't tell anyone!) It gives a nice touch to this card. I love the way i colored the mittens.... I used my copics trying some shadow and lights and blending colors together and all that stuff - i'm improving don't I?

I've been really thoughtful this couple of week with lots of my mind and I was reading about a young women who is struggling with Stage 4 Cancer and the worst thing is that "there's nothing to do" and she decided to instead of spending all of her remaining time fighting it just to at the end get the same result... she decided to enjoy and spend quality time with her family and getting ready and leave everything written and done before the day comes..... :( that has escaled in my mind...big time!!! I just wish I could have 1/2 the Strength and Courage for everything that she has shown....

Hello Bleeps Friends! Today I would like to share a very, very special card that I made for my BBF, is not a Birthday card but since her birthday is coming up I will love to send her this card, it just reminds me of her, she is so delicate and nice…… well without further adiu...

here’s the card:

For my card I used Gold (Stardreams Gold), Autum Hay 1, Gold Pearl Linen, Cocoa Crepe (Cocoa Ruche) and Cryogen White Iridescent all of this amazing cardstock are from PaperTemptress and this amazing Gold ribbon 5/8 Splitz Ribbon and used the stamps from the lovely PTI stamps set “Love Lives Here” and stamped with Chestnut ink.

I just loved this sweet and delicate combination of colors and lines & squares with the lovely touch of the sweet butterfly…I’m in love with this card….. I don’t know if I will be able to send it to the recipient!!! LOL Just kidding!

I'm really excited and happy with how this card turned out!! LOL, my only directions were: Beautiful and Simple (that can be mail out!); and I was sure that I wanted to use both of the SP & CO new stamps. And this is what I ended up doing. What do you think?

I'm using Treat Box and I made the Box to add some personalized Christmas note cards for a Christmas gift. All of the templates are so easy and fun to put together.... that makes you wanna make more than just one at times!!

It's time for

Design Team Wednesday for SP & Company Stamps!

For my project I made a Thanksgiving Tag

Here's it is....
I used the Bold Sentiment II stamp Set from SP & Co, I cut the fall leaves from my Silhouette SD Studio and used my MS border punch to add the gold touch, wanted to make a bow but instead I left the ribbon and just add the brown ribbon with the orange button- which I think is a great add on to it!! what you think? This tag is going to be use on a gift for Thanksgiving dinner day!
